OPERATIONAL STATEMENT

D.A.V. Charities of Central California Inc. is a non-profit charity thrift store. Our mission is to give back to Veterans who have selflessly served our great nation. We are committed to serving Veterans and their families by supporting local and statewide Veteran agencies.

Our monthly in-kind donations to VA Central California directly supports their ability to care for the Veterans they serve. We sponsor Veteran Service Officers with training to assist, counsel and represent Veterans with their service connection disability claims.

D.A.V Charities supports the national Disabled American Veterans transportation program which transports Veterans to and from their medical appointments. We contribute to many local charities in our community, such as providing entertainment for hospitalized Veterans at VA Central California’s nursing home. Our donations allow SEGS4VETS program to purchase segways for several disabled Veterans.

D.A.V. Charities is a retail thrift store averaging 400 customers daily. Hours of operation are Sunday 10:00am-3:00pm and Monday-Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm., with thirteen employees’ working daily.
